  • What is holistic therapy?

    Healthline defines "holistic therapy" as an approach that aims to treat the whole person (mind, body, and spirit) at once rather than just the symptoms of a disease or condition. While traditional talk therapy is part of the treatment in this approach, we integrate mental, social, physical, and spiritual factors in our journey toward health and healing.

  • Where do we meet?

    Judi Ross Holistic Therapy is currently a virtual telehealth service. Once establishing care, you will have access to a Client Portal that offers scheduling, messaging, and the meeting room for telehealth sessions.

  • How often do we meet?

    Holistic therapy is different than traditional psychotherapy that recommends meeting at least once per week for a designated amount of time. Each client is empowered to determine what frequency of sessions and length of treatment is best for them. Judi Ross Holistic Therapy offers the baseline recommendation of the first three sessions occurring within 6 weeks, and oftentimes every other week is a comfortable cadence for the first 3+ months.   • How is yoga used in this holistic approach?

    When we think of yoga, many think of practicing poses for physical health. However, did you know that these poses only make up 1/8 of traditional yoga practice? We believe in the power of yoga for healing the mind, body, and spirit. However, no client will be pressured to utilize any particular practice or method. We will collaborate to develop your individualized treatment plan, and we will incorporate yoga should we agree it will help you on your journey.

  • What does “mind-body skills coaching” mean?

    Mind-body skills coaching is a holistic approach to therapy that focuses on the interconnectedness of your mind and body. By understanding how your thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations influence each other, we can work together to develop strategies for improving your overall well-being. In our approach, this can include somatic processing and body scanning, where we acknowledge where emotions and triggers are showing up in the body and learn how to address them in a mindful, helpful way for improved healing. 


    Mind-body skills coaching will teach you skills to manage stress and anxiety, improve focus and concentration, cultivate mindfulness, and enhance self-regulation of your emotions and behaviors.


  • What forms of payment do you accept?

    We accept the following payment methods:

    • Credit/debit cards, including Mastercard®, VISA®, Discover®, and American Express®
    • HSA/FSA cards, and we have statement documentation available if needed
    • Out-of-network insurance reimbursement via Superbills upon request
  • What is private pay?

    With private pay, you are afforded further confidentiality and privacy that is not allowed otherwise when billing a third party that may have access to, and at times control of: your treatment coverage, modalities used in session, and tracking of your diagnosis and session details.
